Founded in 1907, we began a new chapter following our independence in 2003 with a commitment to producing shochu using local ingredients, local water, local people, and the local climate. Our signature barley shochu, Usa Bozu Dochu, is made primarily from hadaka barley harvested on the Usa Plain. Guided by our belief that shochu is best enjoyed with food, we craft spirits with rich umami and a smooth, clean finish, making them ideal companions to a wide variety of dishes.
