Founded in 1891 by our founder, Akashi Niuemon, we have been crafting shochu in Ebino, Miyazaki Prefecture, for more than 135 years. Surrounded by the Kyushu Mountains and the Kirishima mountain range, we are blessed with abundant greenery and exceptionally pure water. Guided by our philosophy of creating "shochu that delights both the palate and the heart," we produce a diverse lineup, including Rokukannon, blended from six different sweet potato shochu base spirits, and Isono Namihei, an officially licensed collaboration inspired by the beloved Japanese anime Sazae-san.
