Satsuma Shimabijin is born in Nagashima Town, the northernmost town in Kagoshima Prefecture. This authentic sweet potato shochu is expertly blended from spirits produced by five local distilleries—Miyauchi Shuzo, Miyanotsuyu Shuzo, Nagayama Shuzo, Sugimoto Shuzo, and Nanshu Shuzo. Each distillery contributes its own traditional craftsmanship, resulting in a harmonious blend with the rich flavor of sweet potatoes, gentle sweetness, and an elegant finish that never grows tiresome.
