Okuchi Shuzo, located in Isa City in northern Kagoshima Prefecture, specializes exclusively in sweet potato shochu. Founded in 1970, the company celebrated its 55th anniversary last year. Our flagship brand, Kuro Isanishiki, helped spark the popularity of black koji shochu in the industry. At this event, we will offer three special selections: Kuro Isanishiki Genshu, a commemorative bottling celebrating our 55th anniversary, and an Isa region-exclusive shochu.
