Founded in 1911, our distillery is nestled in the beautiful natural surroundings overlooking the Kirishima Mountain Range and the clear waters of the Kirishima River. Using the same earthenware fermentation pots that have been passed down for over a century, together with natural spring water from the Kirishima Mountains, we produce authentic shochu including our flagship brand, Akarui Nouson (Bright Village). At this event, we will also offer brewery-exclusive limited editions that are normally available only at our distillery.
